BMCCF Members,
One more month till our car show, and the Show committee has been very busy covering everything that needs to be done. There are a lot of jobs that need to be filled for the show to be successful so all you members step forward and volunteer to help.
Trudy will be filling the positions at our Octoberfest dinner meeting on October 16th. This will be our last chance to tie up all loose ends before the show.
Our upcoming activity at the Boys and Girls Home in Lake Waccamaw is shaping up nicely with about eighteen (18) cars committed. Instead of cooking for about 100 people, we’re going to serve pizza and drinks. That should cut our workload considerably and allow enough time to give the kids rides.
Since our lunch meeting with the Raleigh MG Club was cancelled due to bad weather, we will try to reschedule that event sometime in November.
If you’ve never been to our Octoberfest give it a try. Don & Ingrid cook up the best bratwurst around, and when everyone brings a dish we end up having a real feast.
See you at Octoberfest.

Boys & Girls Homes at Lake Waccamaw
You should be at the club in Waccamaw before noon. We will provide refreshments for 60 kids, 15 staff, and 14 club members. It is suggested that car club members bake goodies for dessert. We will need some club members to serve the food. We will eat around noon and then give the kids rides. Should be through by 3:00PM.
Anyone interested in
joining the caravan, we will meet at Stein-Mart parking lot (intersection of
Oleander and Independence) and leave at 11:00 AM for Lake Waccamaw The Boys and Girls Club would like donations of used sports equipment and clothing to sell at a store they run at the facility. Cash donations will also be accepted. Visit their website: http://www.boysandgirlshomesofnc.com/
