BMCCF Members,

Question . . . Why is our membership lower than last year?  Is it because interest in British cars is dying?  Are the little cars leaving this area?  Is it because people are just too busy with life that they can’t make time to have some fun?  Are we not getting enough exposure?  I don’t know the answer to these questions, but I do know our membership is down 33% this year.  It seems every year we get people who join during our annual Battleship Show, never to be seen again.  We also have people who renew every year and never attend a meeting or event.  These people must have an interest in British cars, so what can we do to get them to attend a meeting or show up at an event?

Our Southport trip had 18 attendees. Everyone had a very enjoyable time at Richard & Marilyn Graham’s home for drinks and snacks, and then the Grahams took us to a very nice restaurant on the ICW.

If our non-participating members would try one of our outings, I’m sure they would make time for others.  Our club has a special way of making new people feel right at home – I’ve seen this happen many times.  This is the friendliest club I have ever seen.

If you know a member who doesn’t attend any of our functions, ask them to give us a try.

Wayne
