BMCCF Members,

The summer months are almost gone and we’ve had an activity every month since the first of the year.  The weather has been cooperative, and the temperatures have not been unbearable.  We’ve been to some great places close to home and enjoyed some very good food at every place.

The people who participated had a great time.  It’s too bad the people who missed these events could not have come along.  We still have some more great spots to visit, especially the upcoming trip to Christopher’s Restaurant in Clinton where we will be meeting the Raleigh MG club for a great buffet.  If you haven’t tried this place, you’re missing one of the premier buffets in the area, and the price is as reasonable as Golden Corral.

Our trip to Mike’s Farm was very pleasant.  The food was great and everyone enjoyed the gift shop, the home baked pies, cookies and fudge.  Merritte took us via some back roads that had a lot of sharp curves and the guys couldn’t resist trying the handling on their cars.  We’ll have to run those roads again.

The more we drive our little British car the more we enjoy it.  If I’m ever able to retire, Pat and I are going to head up the back roads to western PA in our LBC.

Happy motoring.

Wayne
